Þegar kona sem er ekki módel situr fyrir á tískumyndum! – MYNDIR

Nathalie Croquet er fyrrum ritstjóri tiskutímarits. Hún var komin með hálfgerða leið á þessum týpísku tísku-ljósmyndum og ákvað í samstarfi við ljósmyndarann Daniel Schweizer að gera sínar eigin útgáfur af fyrirsætu myndum. Verkefnið heitir „SPOOF“ hún vill að þegar fólk skoði myndirnar hugsi það um staðlana sem samfélagið setur á okkur, kyn okkar og aldur.

Former fashion magazine editor Nathalie Croquet wanted to take on a different role in the industry, so she stepped in front of the camera to parody high-fashion ads.

Along with photographer Daniel Schweizer, a makeup artist, and a hairdresser, Croquet started her project, called SPOOF, last summer in France.

She drew on 30 years of experience in fashion working with more than 200 photographers.

"I don't really see myself" when looking at the photos, Croquet told BuzzFeed News. "You know, like how you don't recognize your voice in a telephone message."

She targeted French designers like Sonia Rykiel, Givenchy, and Paule Ka.

Myndirnar eru ótrúlega nákvæmar!

The images are impressively spot-on.

Croquet isn't trying to communicate one overarching message through her work. Instead, she said she wants each viewer to reach an independent conclusion.

"Women, consumption, retouching, cosmetics, aging, beauty, those all come to mind, but truly those issues are up for debate," she said.

Croquet is now shooting a second round of the copycat images."I feel people need a more spiritual approach to life, and good fun," she said. "I'm happy to give them that, even if I'm just making fun of myself."
